Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional company representative. You will then be transferred on a short 10–15-minute drive to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – Crater Lake Visit

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through beautiful countryside, papyrus swamps, tea plantations, and rural villages that offer a true glimpse into Uganda’s landscape.

In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the stunning Ndali Crater Lakes, offering breathtaking views and peaceful nature walks. Later, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin the day early with a chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest, regarded as the best place in Africa to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After a ranger briefing, you will trek through lush rainforest in search of these intelligent primates.

In the afternoon, drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way. This park is famous for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and a rich bird population.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive – Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. You may encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kob, waterbuck, warthogs, leopards, and many bird species.

After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes Edward and George. This is one of Africa’s best boat safaris, offering close encounters with large pods of hippos, crocodiles, bathing elephants, buffaloes, and countless water birds.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through rolling hills, tea plantations, and lush highland rainforest. This region forms part of the great Albertine Rift and is one of Africa’s most biodiverse areas.

Arrive in Bwindi in the afternoon and enjoy a cultural community experience, learning about the traditions and lifestyle of the local people living near the forest.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters at 7:30 a.m. for a detailed briefing before beginning your mountain gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you will trek into the dense rainforest to locate a habituated gorilla family.

The tracking can take 2 to 10 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing them at close range—an emotional and unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 7: Return to Kampala – Departure

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe with a lunch stop in Mbarara town. En route, enjoy a stop at the Equator Line for photography and souvenir shopping.

Continue to Entebbe in time for your evening departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Ugandan safari.
